Celebrate the longest day of the year by getting out on the water! Join instructors from the Outdoor Recreation School to enjoy an evening of canoeing on Medicine Lake. We will do a brief review of paddle strokes before heading out on the lake. We recommend participants have some previous canoeing experience for this program. $12/person.
Celebrate the longest day of the year for Summer Solstice Outdoor Qigong, a guided practice focused on finding flow with nature through breath and movement with teaching artist, Scott Stafford. This program will offer techniques for quieting the mind and easing the body, including seated and standing sequences from tai chi and qigong forms to promote overall well-being and balance. No experience necessary. A yoga mat or towel for sitting on is recommended. Meet at the Cleary Lake Visitor Center. $15/person.
Celebrate the longest day of the year on the water. Join Outdoor Recreation School instructors to learn the fundamental skills and versatility of stand-up paddleboarding. Enjoy the board from laying, sitting, and kneeling to standing as we tour Cleary Lake. We’ll end our paddle with a brief singing bowl meditation on our boards as the solstice atmosphere provides an excellent opportunity for mindfulness and personal reflection. $35/person.

This gentle, all-levels class taught by Kelly Larson is designed to honor the sun's energy while inviting deep relaxation. Surrounded by nature's beauty, we'll move with intention, breathe deeply and welcome summer with open hearts and calm minds. We'll close with an extended savasana under the setting sun, accompanied by the soothing meditative sound of singing bowls. Please bring a yoga mat or towel. $15/person.
