Calling all Young Birders! Spend your days outdoors looking for colorful and elusive birds on the world’s greatest treasure hunt. We’ll learn how to find birds, use binoculars, visit an osprey nest, check out cool technology and capture, tag and release wild birds as a part of research. If you love birds, this intensive four-day camp is for you. Extended care available for an additional $48; drop-off begins at 8:30 a.m. and pick-up ends at 5 p.m.

Minnesota is home to 12 species of these fascinating birds. Learn about their distinctive calls, nocturnal abilities, unique characteristics and adaptations, then get out on the trails to look for signs of the species that live in the park. All equipment provided.

The ice is thawing and birds are migrating along the Mississippi River. This is just the right time to be out looking for ducks, mergansers and other water birds. All materials provided.
