Volunteers are an important part of the effort to fight the spread of invasive species. Help restore our woodlands at this community buckthorn removal event at Baker Outdoor Learning Center. With the guidance of a naturalist, volunteers will receive training to identify and remove common buckthorn before independently removing plants with tools. Participants will be able to work at their own pace and must be able to walk on uneven terrain with limited access to water or restroom facilities. Free.
