n Extreme Fishing Camp, participants will learn to fish different bodies of water in search of various species like: panfish, bass, northern pike, walleye, catfish, redhorse sucker and more! Try different techniques and hone skills while learning from experienced Outdoor Recreation School instructors and professionals in the fishing industry. Try angling from a watercraft and from a riverbank. Equipment provided. Transportation to specific fishing locations will be provided by Outdoor Recreation School staff during camp hours.

Rooted in the history of the logging era in the Midwest, log rolling is both safe and fun. Join Outdoor Recreation School instructors to learn this exciting sport! Test your new skills while “competing” against other participants. No previous experience is needed. $6/person.

Excited to try camping but don’t have the gear? We have the tents, stoves, sleeping pads and all the information you need to have a great weekend camping at Baker Park! Enjoy the beach, play area, hike and bike trails, Naturalist programs Saturday, relaxing in the campground and hands-on instruction from experienced and friendly staff. Check in and pick up your gear box between 4pm and 7pm on Friday and Check out and return your gear between 11am and 3pm on Sunday. This is a great way to try out one of Minnesota’s favorite pastimes and become a camper! Fee includes campsite, tent/s, tarp, stove/fuel, sleeping pads and lantern. You will receive more information, packing list, campfire recipes, and helpful video on tent set up two weeks before your reservation. $90/site plus tax
