One-Room Schoolhouse & Life on the Farm Camp

Pack your lunch pail and meet the teacher for a day at an authentic 1889 one-room schoolhouse. Students of all grades coming from town or neighboring farms were taught together in this historic building. Use slate boards and copy books for your lessons, then enjoy 19th century games and toys at recess. On the second day, we'll experience life on a farm. Explore and compare two frontier farms from the 1850s and 1890s. Meet the livestock, learn how to build a log cabin, help with farm chores and work in the garden. Your reward will be a tasty snack cooked on a wood-burning stove.
