The Mystery of Freshwater Mussels - The Mystery of Freshwater Mussels

Mussels are a surprising, mysterious animal! Learn about their unique and sometimes strange life cycle. Dissect a mussel to learn about its body parts, try your hand at identifying species of mussels and look for living mussels at the river's edge. $6/person


All equipment will be provided. You will receive an email with more details prior to the program date. This program is mostly indoors with an outdoor component; please dress for the weather. Shoes that can go in the water are helpful but not required - we have water shoes available to borrow.

Age requirements for this activity are between Ages 8 years and up
