Salsa del Soul is a Twin Cities-based ensemble performing various styles of dance music from the Spanish-speaking regions of the Caribbean. The musicians of Salsa del Soul represent some of the finest talents in the Twin Cities Latin music scene. The styles of music they perform include Son, Son Montuno, Plena, Cha-cha-cha, Bachata, Merengue, Timba, and, of course, Salsa! Performances for this series are held on Thursday evenings from 6:30 p.m.–8 p.m. outside the French Regional Park visitor center. Bring a picnic blanket or lawn chair and others to enjoy it with! In the event of inclement weather, the decision may be made to move concerts inside to the Oakwood Reservation Room. A food truck will be on site during the performance.
