Theme: Freedom Remembered, Community Alive. Three Rivers invites the community to Silverwood Park for a fun-filled evening to celebrate Juneteenth. Join the celebration recognizing the importance of Juneteenth, marking the moment when freedom was finally announced to the last enslaved African Americans and a calling to reckon with both the promise and the unfinished work of democracy. Festivities will include live music from Obi Original and the Black Atlantics from 6:30–8 p.m., a local market featuring resources and vendors from the community, food available for purchase from a local food truck, drop-in artmaking activities for everyone and an interactive space for youth. This event is free and open to all ages. Drop in anytime.
